Vice principal’s message

“When you touch a stone, you are touching the past;
When you touch a flower, you are touching the present;
When you touch a child, you are touching the future.”
—Swami Vivekananda.
Greetings to all! Let me extend my profound gratitude to God Almighty, for the blessings showered upon us as we have stepped into the academic year 2020-2021. We have begun this year with a great challenge of facing the global threat, the pandemic COVID-19, so let us join hands to make this journey of learning and self-realization, a remarkable one.
It gives me immense pleasure to invite you to work with due care and diligence thus safeguarding our lives and the lives of our little ones, whose care and custody have been bestowed on us by our creator. When things have gone downhill, the journey towards our destination might be a challenge; but never impossible. Heedful of this let us move ahead with confidence and determination.
“Education is the foundation upon which we build our future”.
The aforesaid quote obviously transports great significance. Our children are unique and beautiful. Not allowing their minds to be filled with facts and figures, we make them think and create new and extraordinary things. Cogent that education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think as said by Albert Einstein
We at Sunrise English Private School are committed to prepare these futuristic citizens for a meaningful and productive life in a globalized society.
As part of our school’s “collaborative culture of continuous improvement” each group within our community has responsibilities. Each group – parents, teachers, students, support staff and the Leadership Team – has constructed a set of shared values or collective commitments. Collective Commitments identify actions, behaviors and obligations necessary to bring our school’s vision to life. Being a part of these Collective Commitments and abiding by its promises, we at SEPS develop a dynamic faith and learning community.
As the Vice-Principal of this prestigious school, I take this opportunity to welcome all our motivated students, enthusiastic parents and dedicated teaching faculty to work in communion, collaboration and team spirit to prepare our pupils for life, helping them to develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning. As you journey through the pathway of learning, always remember to aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life. Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism. As you tread along the way, fill yourself with buoyancy and poise, for as Helen Keller said; Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement; nothing can be done without hope and confidence. Let me wrap up wishing you all the very best and acknowledging each and every one of you for your patronage and support rendered in the past and hoping for the same in times ahead to come.
